Together with fellow West Virginians, Wilson Martino Dental and TLC Dental ended their 2009 coat drive by collecting 1,014 coats.

Once collected, the coats were donated to local homeless shelters, civic organizations, missions, and The United Way and Salvation Army units for distribution throughout the winter months.

“The coat drive gives us an opportunity to partner with the community and help those in need. With over ninety employees and hundreds of neighbors helping out, our coat drive is a success each year,” said Robert Martino, DDS and President of the eight-office organization.

For 2009, coats were donated by a variety of sources. Participating in the event were all Wilson Martino Dental Associates employees, TLC Dental of Morgantown, Church and civic clubs, local merchants, patients and community members. The coat drive ended on November 13th and all collections have been scheduled for pick up and distribution.
