Valley Health congratulates Lanie Masilamani on her recent promotion to Chief Operating Officer.
As COO, Masilamani directly oversees daily operations at 14 of Valley Health’s 28 health centers, four school-based healthcare sites, the Women, Infants and Children Program and managing Provider Relations including recruitment and retention. Masilamani, also a member of the Executive Team, has served Valley Health for nearly nine years, serving in positions that include Director of Practice Management, Healthcare Administrator and OUCH Program Director. Additionally, Masilamani will continue to play a significant role in successfully writing grants for Valley Health and in facilitating marketing and public relations efforts organization-wide.
“Lanie’s dedication to Valley Health, its physicians and its patients has certainly not gone unnoticed,” Steve Shattls, Chief Executive Officer of Valley Health, said. “She has made tremendous contributions to Valley Health throughout the years, and we are confident that she will continue to do so in this new, Executive capacity.”
Masilamani received her Master’s Degree in Health Administration at the Medical University of South Carolina after completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology at Clemson University.
